Three years after the EU’s criminal invasion crisis which reached its peak in summer 2015 to spring 2016, the EU continues to struggle with solutions. This is despite its regular pronouncements of unity.
EU’S FAVOURED COUNTRIES CAN BREAK THE RULES
Whilst the EU Commission is obsessed with punishing member states such as Hungary and Poland for alleged transgressions of EU law, other member states have been breaking EU laws with apparent impunity.
On the one hand the EU Commission is pursuing Eastern European member states for refusing to accept immigrant quotas, while on the other hand it has turned a blind eye to other states erecting border controls within the supposedly open border Schengen area.
Now it seems that Germany is ready to take further unilateral action, as it eyes large and increasing numbers of predominantly young African men entering Spain illegally. It believes, with some justification, that many of these men will make for Germany. Those who do not will travel up through France in an attempt to make it across into the UK.
MEANWHILE, UK IS TOLD “VE HAFF RULES”
In the meantime, the EU Commission is constantly telling the UK that the EU is an institution of inviolable rules and order, and that these must be obeyed by the UK within any Withdrawal Agreement.
Once again, the reality of the EU is very different to that which is imagined by Remainer MPs. We only wish they would start educating themselves. We’re happy to help educate any open-minded MP who has previously supported Remain.
