Labour will abolish police and crime commissioners and instead give local people a say in appointing police commanders, in the wake of the child sex abuse scandal in Rotherham.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, Yvette Cooper, the shadow home secretary, said a future Labour government would abolish the controversial posts, saving at least £50M, which would be spent on frontline policing.

Nigel Farage will throw a fresh curve ball at Labour and the Tories this week, challenging them to back a law allowing firms to discriminate against foreign workers.

The Ukip leader will demand legislation to protect businesses that provide “British jobs for British Workers”.

Well they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! The abolition of PCCs and the repeal of the so-called Equality Act 2010 are policies advocated and publicised by Patria from the beginning. This shows why Patria is so far ahead of the game and why you should give Patria your support at all times and especially at elections, when we will really put these policies into practice rather than just use weasel words to garner votes.
