No immigration = No housing shortage

Some people would like us to believe that there is no alternative to destroying nature by pouring concrete over the beautiful natural habitat we are so fortunate to have on our doorstep.

They try to intimidate anyone who objects to this desecration of our green countryside by calling them unpleasant names like ‘nimby’. Of course, they have a hidden agenda, as well as being bullies.

What they will never refer to is the elephant in the room. What is that elephant that they want us to try to ignore? Why, mass immigration, of course!

The average birth rate is and has been for many years well below the replacement level of 2.1 children per woman. Which means that in the absence of immigration the population would be gently declining. No bad thing for those young people wishing to get a foot on the housing ladder, because the supply and demand equation determines property prices.

Reduce the demand by reducing the number of people in the country needing to be housed and you reduce house prices. Allow the immigration of hundreds of thousands of ethnic aliens, not of British ancestry, every year, as Lib-Lab-Con have and the Greens and UKIP would, and inevitably you increase the demand for housing and its price rises beyond the reach of most young couples on an average wage.

Real wages are also lower than they would otherwise be, because there are more people (immigrants) competing for jobs and employers can hire those who are willing to work for the least, in the knowledge that our taxes will be used to top up their wages to a bare subsistence level.

I have lived in Parklands for 27 years and I’m standing in the general election on 7 May as the Candidate of Patria, the Home of Patriots. I’m also standing in the CDC and City Council elections on the same day.

Patria is the one and only party with both the courage and the intelligence to put our people first. For more information, visit double you double you double you dot patria hyphen uk dot org.

To save the country for your grandchildren: Vote Patria on 7 May!
