No Deal is the only Brexit

“Get Brexit done” as a slogan sounds very reminiscent of “No Deal is better than a bad deal” and “Brexit means Brexit”. We know what happened to them.

Johnson can spout rhetoric, parrot slogans, make jokes and wave his arms around as much as he likes, but it doesn’t alter the fact that his, or rather Treason May’s and his written in Berlin political declaration and remain agreement is an atrocious surrender treaty. It would leave the country at the mercy of the EU and the infamous ECJ during an indefinite ‘transition period’, still subject to the direct effect and supremacy of EU law and its interpretation by a foreign court but without a vote or veto.

A choice of either a Johnson majority or Corbyn government propped up by the SNP is like being between the devil and the deep blue sea. Forget about the freebies offered by Johnson and Corbyn. Their promises are worthless.

Brexit is the most important issue because it will determine all of the others. Ideally we need a minority Conservative administration supported by a few good Brexit Party MPs so we can dump Johnson’s ‘deal’ and leave with no deal, before discussing trade with the EU from a position of strength.

We had the public debate about the merits of Brexit in 2015-16 and the Referendum itself in June 2016. Both Conservatives and Labour pledged to honour the result and implement it.

Why, almost three and a half years on is Labour planning a further referendum with Remain as one of the two options on the ballot paper? Why are the Liberal Antidemocrats promising to revoke Article fifty and remain, as if Leave had not won the Referendum?

And why are the Conservatives presenting a written in Berlin political declaration and remain agreement as Brexit when it is nothing of the sort and would keep us under the control of the EU but without a vote or veto? Because Lib-Lab-Con are not fit for purpose that’s why.

A Conservative majority would be bad for the country. We need them to be the largest single party but reliant upon support from the Brexit Party in order to govern with a working majority in parliament. That way Johnson will be forced to abandon his atrocious remain agreement surrender treaty which is a fake Brexit and take us out of the EU with no overarching ‘deal’, the only way of really leaving and winning back our freedom of action as the great sovereign nation we are.

Once we have left with a genuine, clean break, No Deal, WTO Brexit is the time to discuss trade relations with the EU27 from a position of strength. We must let them know where they stand otherwise they will continue to believe they can boss us around. If the opinion polls are to be believed Corbyn for the sake of Brexit needs to raise his game a little, if he can.

Vote Patria.
